05917: Miniature Kidney Shaped Desk, with straight tapered legs, spade feet and edge stringing. England, c. 1850. The desk is constructed exactly as its full size counterpart would be. The body is separate-block built; all of the joints are mortise and tenon, dovetailed or slotted; the drawer interiors have side edge half rounds and the bottoms are chamfered into slots.   Size: 8 7/16" high x 12 7/8" wide x 6 1/2" deep.
