05643: Carriage Clock, French, late 19th C. The enamel dial is set within a pierced grill over a matted brass mask. It has a Swiss lever platform escapement that is fully jeweled. The brass case retains its original gilding. Complete with original key. Size: 6" tall, handle up: Case: 5" high x 3" wide x 2 1/2" deep. Condition: In working order, the movement is keeping very good time. The enamel chapter ring and glass panels are free from chips or cracks.
