05762: Gimbaled Hand Warmer (Wärmapfel or Handwärmekugel), German States, probably Nuremberg, 17th/18th C., Brass. With a modern mahogany stand.

Fitted with a gimbaled spirit warmer; the pierced hemispheres are engraved with gilly flowers and pheasants on the exterior.
